Bala's Chalet is one of the oldest colonial buildings built during the pre-war era and has been preserved in its original structure till today. It was originally a school for European expatriate children as a branch of the more famous Tanglin school in Singapore. Bala's Chalet has now 30 cottage style rooms suitable for travelers and holiday makers.
