In its Metro section on 23 September 2007, The Star has reported that "just days into the fasting month, already the air of festivity cannot be nudged aside as people throng the Ramadan bazaars for tasty treats. It has been the norm that long before the start of Ramadan, the elaborate and painstaking preparation for it would have already started. For hotels, every detail would have been looked into to revise and update menus for the daily buka puasa events. patrick - You're not the only one who's going to get fat this ramadan. Tell me about the hotel buka puasa...you must book way in advance, for some hotels.
